Highlighting Several Projects That Are
Under Design & Construction
Roble Gymnasium Complex – Stanford University
Landry & Bogan, Inc. is working with a design team led by Cody Anderson Wasney Architects to create a new performance space in what was originally the women’s gymnasium as part of a $28 million renovation and adaptive reuse of this Bakewell and Brown 1931 complex. Built originally as an athletic facility, Roble will become the home of the Stanford Department of Theater and Performance Studies (TAPS.) Included in the design will be spaces for dance & drama instruction, rehearsals and performances, as well as performer and audience support spaces, faculty offices and classrooms, and a new “arts gym” in which students can develop creative projects. The new performance spaces will be reconfigurable in a variety of audience seating arrangements and will include a new control room, green room, performer dressing rooms and production support spaces.
Arizona State University Student Pavilion Event Space
This multi-purpose, dividable event space will house a variety of student sponsored events, including concerts, career fairs, conferences, meetings, and performances. Landry & Bogan, Inc. has teamed with Weddle Gilmore Black Rock Studio, HGA Architects and McKay Conant Hoover Acoustical and Audio Visual Consultants to design the main Event Space, including theatrical lighting systems, seating layouts and storage and performance support spaces.
