Vilar Center for the Performing Arts

The Vilar Center Theatre is part of a commercial development project in Beaver Creek, a resort area near Vail.   The theatre is below ground under an ice skating rink.   Designed by Hardy, Holzman Pfeiffer Architects of Los Angeles, this intimate 525-seat theatre was designed for a full slate of performing arts events.   It features a full stage house, orchestra pit with 3-level plank system, and a professional stage lighting system. L&B provided general consulting on seating and sightlines, lighting positions and general space arrangements, as well as full designs for stage lighting and orchestra pit lift.
